About JEff Howell
With over 30 years in the voiceover industry, Jeff Howell has become a driving force behind some of the most recognizable voices in media. Starting as a voiceover agent, Jeff quickly rose through the ranks, taking on roles as casting director, commercial producer, VP of Production, dubbing director, and voice coach—building a career defined by versatility, creativity, and impact.
His production credits span hundreds of national commercials and award-winning promos for major networks including CBS, FOX, Comedy Central, Food Network, A&E, and National Geographic. In audio storytelling, he’s collaborated with sci-fi icons Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie, directing immersive audio novels that pushed the boundaries of the format.
Jeff’s voice direction has brought to life narration for Fox Searchlight, The Smithsonian, DIY Network, and the Travel Channel. He continues to work across animation, commercials, promos, narration, dubbing, and IVR, with an eye for performance and a deep understanding of story.
His animation credits include directing the Emmy-winning Wally’s Opening Day, casting the animated feature Monkey Prince, and serving as talent coordinator and casting director for Netflix’s Magic: The Gathering series. His recent credits include international dubbing projects for Netflix and HBO Max, the Emmy-winning 2018 Nike campaign with Colin Kaepernick, and Stephen Fry’s autobiographical audiobook, Making History.
In addition to his production work, Jeff has coached and produced demos for some of Hollywood’s most famous voices—helping established and emerging talent refine their sound and sharpen their storytelling.
He also leads voiceover workshops around the world, from Hollywood to London, Amsterdam to Rome—sharing not only his expertise, but his passion for the craft.
